In December 2006 Cisco CEO John Chambers announced the selection of India as the site for Cisco’s globalization effort and the appointment of Wim Elfrink to Chief Globalization Officer. Cisco’s Bangalore operation opened on 2 January 2007. We checked in recently with Chris White in Cisco’s Globalization Office to see how it was going after the first year.
