SDL plc [global information management (GIM) solutions] announced that it expects profits for the year ending 31 December 2005 to be significantly ahead of market expectations. "The company is expecting to be able to report profits before taxation and amortisation of intangible assets of not less than GBP 7 million (2004: GBP 5.2 million as restated under IFRS), compared to a consensus market expectation of GBP 5.6 million. Revenues are also expected to exceed consensus expectations of GBP 76.7 million."
