Localization World is a conference and networking organization dedicated to the language and localization industries. The joint buyer-supplier keynote panel comprised Aiman Copty (Oracle), Jim Fagan (Bowne Global Solutions), Bernhard Kohlmeier (Microsoft), Mark Lancaster (SDL), and Heinz Lueken (SAP).They discussed a variety of market challenges, language technology, and translation services.

MultiLingual Computing and International Writers’ Group announce the formation of TM Marketplace, a translation memory brokerage company that offers a breakthrough in maximizing the use of TM. TM Marketplace (TMMP) provides a way for TM owners to gain an immediate return on investment from their translation assets. TMMP lets other companies or individuals access these untapped linguistic resources by purchasing a license for the TM component.
