This is a “we won over a customer” story. Whenever a technology provider succeeds in displacing a competitor or convinces a company to standardize on its product, it’s news. When the buyer is willing to be quoted, that’s even better. In all cases, the supplier will try tie the event into a macro trend. In this case, SDL contends that it is winning accounts away from translation memory market leader Trados.
